Delete your Ryd account

You can delete your Ryd account and all related data at any time.

From the app

1. Open Ryd and go to Settings › Privacy & Security.
2. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. Beforehand, if you wish, you can download a copy of your data from Settings › Privacy & Security › Full backup.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, write to info@ryd-app.it from your account's email address, with the subject "Account deletion". We will ask you to confirm the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, letting you know when it's done.

What is deleted

• your account (email, credentials and profile, including payment details);
• all data saved in the cloud: accounts, transactions, budgets, investments, assets, receipts and attachments;
• the shared expense groups you created, together with their expenses;
• your problem reports.

Technical backups of our provider are overwritten within 30 days. On your phone the data is erased when you delete your account from the app or uninstall it.

What remains

We keep no other data, except what the law requires us to keep. If you wrote to us, we keep the correspondence for the period stated in the Privacy Policy.
